The sound patches for UNAR1 and UNAR2

The files "Depart.zip" and "Decouverte.zip" contain the sound patches
for the first two missions of DrK's "A Night in Rocksbourg" (Une nuit a Rocksbourg) series. I made these patches because I found the ambient background music too loud, so I wasnt able to hear guards and other noises. Nothing else is changed by these patches.


How to install the patches
-------------------------------

This will create a patched version of the Mission zip file, follow the
instructions below. You will only have to go through this once and when done you will have a patched version of the mission which you can play normally through Darkloader/Garretloader just like any other mission.

Also if you have old saved games from the mission before applying the
patch, these saved games will be preserved and can be used with the
patched mission as well.

Step-by-step instructions:

(1). Copy "UNAR1_Depart.zip" and "UNAR2_Decouverte.zip" mission files to the desktop.

(2). Copy "Depart.zip" and "Decouverte.zip" sound patch files to the desktop.

(3a). Open up "depart.zip" and inside you'll find a folder called "UNAR1_Depart.zip" and inside that will be a folder called "snd"

(3b). Drag the folder called "snd" onto the mission zip file "UNAR1_Depart.zip" - this will overwrite the sound files in the mission zip file itself.

(4a). Open up "Decouverte.zip" and inside you'll find a folder called "UNAR2_Decouverte.zip" and inside that will be a folder called "snd"

(4b). Drag the folder called "snd" onto the mission zip file "UNAR2_Decouverte.zip" - this will overwrite the sound files in the mission zip file itself.

(5). Now move the modified files into your thief missions folder.

(6). Fire up Darkloader/Garrettloader and play.


That's it! You can now play the mission the same way you played it
before, but the ambient sounds are less intrusive now.
