The Insurrection Patch

The original release Insur_v1b may not work properly if your Thief 2
game has not been patched to version 1.18. It is also possible that
even this won't fix things.

Why this patch?
---------------
During the first two weeks after release, six players reported that
they could not finish the mission (out of 1,300 downloads).

If you are not seeing objectives ticking off where you would expect,
then you should use this mission patch.

In fact the quickest test -- if there is only one dead Hammer lying
on the ground on or near the bridge, then you need the mission patch.
(After the initial battle, there should be -three- dead Hammers).

How to install the patch
------------------------
(This assumes that you have WinZip installed on your machine)

1. Double-click on the mission patch file to open it.
2. Drag out the two big files -- or use the extract command.
3. Close the mission patch zip file.
4. Double-click on Insur_v1b.zip to open it.
5. Drag the files extracted from the mission patch into Insur_v1b.

That's it -- but you will have to start the mission over, since
none of your old save files will show the changes.

If you would prefer to just download the whole update (recommended),
then look for Insure_v1e.zip (or later).
