Description : "Switcher, the friend of mine came to me with the strange
request. He lost the contact with his son Mike,
who is a memeber of the Mage's Guild. And he is afraid that
there something happened, since before that Mike regulary
visited him. He will pay for this and also has provided me
with some information. First, he gave me a map (oh, at least
that's how he calls that worthless piece of paper), second he
told me about 'Ancient Crown' - a valuable item which buried
somewhere in that forest where mage's guild in. He said that
some fellows before me tried to find it,.. but nobody returned
back. So, I guess I must be carefull there. Also he said
something about magical Sceptre and that he knows some people
very interested in it. In this case I should try to locate and
extract it (of course only if mages are gone). And of course
I'll take all the loot that might be there. I think It will be
interesting jorney."
Mission Type : "Undead-People" type, lots of undeads & only one human
(you are Avatar not human, you know ? :-)).
Note: : This is a simplifyed version of the original level. You have more
stuff at the beginning, all undeads become defeatable, some secrets
now more obvious, more loot on the stage to complete loot goal.
And, please, don't be afraid of the first haunt: he is old, has a bad
hearing and is not very healthy, believe me! What else can I say,...
nothing.
P.S. There also a compass available for you. Now I understand: it
is very necessary and you can't complete the level with out it! :-)

Other info :Hi, sharks of the DROM! Here goes your next prey...
Almost all the undeads on this level were "upgraded"...
so you better avoid them. But some of them just can't be
avoided(i.e. you have to fight them) :-).
Use all equipment that you have found wisely. It is not good,
but if you'll fire your rope arrow into the stone wall you may
regret of it later.
Many of the level's "literature" are very usefull, but sometimes
you should think.
If you can't pass through, maybe you should try it later ?
There are some places in the level which is hard to pass through
(small holes, some terrain features blocking the way etc) , I know
that some people don't like such things(sorry :-)), but as for me it is
very interesting to get to the hardpass areas.
Also I should excuse for the level media (custom textures, maps,
voice). I know they are bad, but I have no talented friends
interested in the FM creation and was forced to do all the things
by myself. So here they are.
I think that's all I should say. Feel free to send me any comment,
suggestions, etc.

Build Time : About 1.5 months

Put the magearea.zip in the thief/missions folder.
Run Thief Loader, and select it from the list.
* Loading information without Thief Loader*
To load this Thief map:
Unzip files in the archive to ..\thief
Start Thief normally.
Start new game, and select "The Mages Area".

without prompting
