Title : Best Defense
Description : Thief 2 Fan Mission
Story: You received a frantic visit from your old associate "Tricky" Nick. He
informed you that the newly-elected sheriff is going to arrest you in
order to gain some quick respect among his peers. Unfortunately, for
the good sheriff, he's got his own skeletons in the closet. You need
to dig up some dirt before dawn, or else you'll be finding out if the
city dungeon is as awful as legend says.
Bugs &
Tips: 1. High polygon count outdoors will drop frame rate on slower machines.
2. I've learned some hard lessons in this (my first) mission. The outdoor
area is really lame...use your imagination.
3. There will be two follow-up missions to this in the future and will be
much higher quality...I hope you enjoy this one.
4. For those who despise no-kill objectives, two of the innocents in this
mission will figure in the follow-up missions...so I had to make sure
they lived to see another sunrise (without dreaming up some miraculous
reanimation as seen in the Friday the 13th movie series).

* Thanks To *
Many thanks to all of the tutorial authors and all of those who lend their expertise
in the editor forums. Special thanks to Schwaa, Charon, Hit Deity, and Komag who
answered many of my questions which kept me from giving up in frustration. My wife
deserves much credit for not smashing the computer after spending over 100 hours on
this mission when I should be building a deck (during daylight hours anyway).
I would also like to thank my beta testers for their thorough testing and constructive
