Briefing : I try to make a general rule to complete a job and complete it well. For some odd reason if something can go wrong it probably will. Little did I know that the city watch was staking out the Rumford manor the night I broke in. Shortly after Basso and Jenivere escaped from Lady Rumford's Manor the city watch captured Jenivere. She's probably locked up in the Riverbed Police Station. This means that my job isn't complete yet, and I'm already worn out from the last job.

Build Time : On and off for two years...

This is my first Thief mission. I actually had one for Thief 1 but never finished it. There is only one difficulty setting.

Some mistakes I have found:

The 0, 0, 0 is located in the center of the police station. Luckily nothing is left there during gameplay. Next time the 0, 0, 0 will be out of town.

As I learned more I used different construction or design methods, so things such as steps or stairs are done differently throughout the mission.

One biggie is the long straight shot from one end of the mission to the other. It worked out ok.

Most of the mission was built with 11 or 12 grid which is something else got away with or I was just lucky.

For now the map looks as it is, with a green outline of the city.

I'm sure there are more mistakes and I could have put more detail into some of the buildings, but I have been working on this too long.

I have made some simple updates from the first release.

This mission is ? 2003 by John Denison (john9818a) I only take credit for the design of my mission. All of the textures, objects, scripts, conversations, etc. are original Looking Glass property. After spending years of designing Heretic missions with DCK, I happy to be able to design missions in a much more realistic simulation.

Thanks to everyone at the TTLG forums for their help and to those who beta-tested my mission!

Distribution of this level is allowed as long as it is free and the package
is kept intact. You may not include this level in any map pack without my
permission. No one may edit and re-distribute this mission without my express
permission.

This level was not made and is not supported by Looking Glass Studios or Eidos
Interactive.
