The story takes place after Thief: The Dark Project.
Story:
I'm not out of money this time, but it seems that a new group of knights have a cathedral in the city, they are smart and strong as they are rich too. A new order called the Mechanists are trying to buy their gold with gadgets and "masked servants" I have to find some clues about their influence and get all the loot before these Mechanists do. This is a lucrative opportunity and the job simple, grab the loot, find proof and get out, the time is getting cold and it's a beautiful day to raid some churchs, hehe. It's time to see the faces of these knights when they discover that somebody got rich with their gold...
