General Information

Title - Shadows of Darkness: Exploring Frytefull Crypt
Filename - miss20.mis
Author - Anonymous
Contact Info - None for now
Date of Release - December 6, 2006, or shortly thereafter (see below)
Version - 1.0, and don't expect any updates
Release Notes - This is an entry in Brother Renault's Dromed Total Crap FM Contest; as such, it is not a serious mission. It is a dumb horror parody, or something along those lines, so just play it for laughs. In fact, it might be a better idea not to play it at all. But if you do, keep in mind that you can vote for your favorite entries, provided you are reading this before the contest is over: go to thief-thecircle.com, and check through the news around December 6. There should be information there.
Testing - Self-tested due to lack of time; I consider this justifiable due to the contest theme.

Story

Rumor has it that the Frytefull Crypt, a set of pagan tombs, holds great treasures. Unfortunately for you, it's also haunted. According to legend, two of the greatest pagan sorcerers of all time, Lord Dethstayj and the Archmage Hottenheere, are buried in the Crypt, each one with his greatest creation: Lord Dethstayj with his infamous set of twelve indestructible arrows, and Archmage Hottenheere with his mystical Lava Suit. You're not sure why those could be of use to you, but they're probably worth checking out while you're in there.

Your sources tell you that the treasure is just past a pit of lava, which has stairs going over it. But be careful: all those who have ventured into the tomb have come out raving mad--if at all....

Known bugs

I don't care what bugs there are, as long as they don't prevent you from finishing the mission. If you catch a game-breaking one, you can either mention it on TTLG.com's forums or look up my contact info once the contest is done, and I'll fix it if I can figure it out and if I can be bothered to pick this thing up again. The exception: You can get stuck irretrievably on the ceiling of one of the rooms. Not much I can do about this, but it's not a big issue. Just don't save over your file while you're up there, or don't get stuck in the first place.

Credits/Thanks

No credits, exactly, but I'd like to thank all the people who have passed down their Dromed experience; Nameless Voice's reference material, Telliamed's script references, and Spike14's Complete Tutorial have been particularly valuable to me.
