L a d y L o m a t ' s F l u t e

"Lord Lomat's mansion sits proudly amongst the other houses of the wealthy
and noble, off on the edge of town. He even has his own moat and private gardens.

It's well known that Lomat has a love of antiques, many of them procured
through secret channels known only to him and the other members of The Brotherhood.

A big time thief known as The Hand just got caught trying to rob the place.
Too bad for him... I heard he was going after Lady Lomat's Flute. It must be a fine
instrument indeed. I think I might have to investigate myself. If The Hand thought it
was worth the risk, then it might just be worth the trip across town.

After a little investigation, I've chosen the night when Lord Lomat is in the city attending
one of The Brotherhood's clandestine meetings. He's just left in his carriage, and now's
my chance to go in! I'll have to get over the moat, get inside, and find the flute.

Thanks to The Hand, there's now a double roster of guards. Oh well, you know
the saying... if you want to perfect your art, you have to practice every night."

"Lord Lomats Anwesen vor den Toren der Stadt hebt sich stolz von den Wohnsitzen anderer
0Edelleute ab. Sein Haus ist von einem Burggraben umgeben und er besitzt sogar eigene
Gärten.

Jeder weiß, daß Lomat Antiquitäten liebt, einige sollen durch fragwürdige Wege Eingang in
seine Sammlung bekommen haben, Wege, die nur er und die anderen Mitglieder der
Bruderschaft kennen.

Ein berühmter Dieb namens 'Die Hand' wurde neulich während eines Einbruchs beim Lord erwischt.
Dumm für ihn gelaufen ... ich hörte er wollte Lady Lomats Flöte stehlen. Das muß in der Tat ein
herrliches Instrument sein. Ich sollte da mal recherchieren, denn wenn 'Die Hand' so ein
Risiko einging, könnte sich der Weg zu dem Haus lohnen.

Meinen Nachforschungen gemäß werde ich in der Nacht zuschlagen wenn Lord Lomat in der
Stadt weilt um einer der Geheimsitzungen der Bruderschaft beizuwohnen. Eben ist er per Kutsche
abgereist und das ist die Gelegenheit einzubrechen. Es gilt über den Burggraben zu kommen,
ins Haus zu huschen nud die Flöte zu finden.

Daß nun doppelt soviele Wachen dort herumstreifen verdanke ich 'Der Hand'. Nun gut, wir kennen
ja den Spruch 'Übung macht den Meister' - und das jede Nacht."
