Storyline: Times have changed a little since the early days of Ramirez. His bankroll has become larger along with his local control of smuggling, counterfeit goods, thieving rings, extortion, and on and on. There is an old saying: "What comes around goes around", or is it the other way around? Ramirez does not control the majority of the territory however! His rival is Mr. Webster who once had the title "Warden of the Docks". That is what most of the locals considered him to be but, as always, it is better to trust your instincts when judging what some folks actually do for a living. Mr. Webster has become rich and powerful through racketeering, slavery and smuggling. You name it, he has had it done.
Also, as time has passed, some of Ramirez' ex-employees have had an idea or two about what they wanted to achieve. Mind you, they worked with Ramirez long enough to learn how to avoid the law. Josh, a thief, a thug and one of Ramirez's henchmen, decided he would operate his own establishment. It's known as "The Skulls". It's a professional thieving ring always for hire depending on the size of your pocket book. Not really low-life, scumbag type thieves, per say, but lets just say they will use any force necessary to make sure no one gets in their way. You know what I mean!
The Hammerites are in full force now, as lawlessness is widespread, and their job is made tougher by the two great powers, Ramirez and Webster, who vie for full control of the territory. As always, the underdog must pay for their greed and just for the crime of being poor. The rich and powerful often seek such individuals to mis-direct the scent of the hounds who seek to prohibit law breakers. Powerful men like Ramirez and Webster know exactly how to pull the right strings at the right time to make a puppet do precisely what they want it to do.
Some grisly murders have recently plagued the local townships and the City Watch has been sent in by Sheriff Truart to try to deter more murdering. I guess you would say they are a little more like slaughters than simple murders. Heads have been ripped from bodies, not to mention arms and legs. Somehow, Garrett has been accused of the grisly murders and soon he will discover who fingered him. That is, when and if he is able to escape the clutches of the corrupt system he so passionately resents.
Escape from the City Watch Jail and discover the truth about all this. And don't forget that "a friend in need is a friend indeed" and what goes around always comes around. With three sides of an obvious Triangle there is also the Center. In this center is, of course, Garrett!
The Story is simple and it is really not about three Powers opposing and repelling each other. It is about a lone thief named Garrett who seems to always run into some kind of trouble or evil. Why does he overcome all of his obstacles? To survive! With his great thieving abilities and his keen insight into the Workings of the system, he is able to get the job done. As always, the rent again is due and a cheap room in the low rent jail house will not cut it: cold, wet and never enough to eat; a hard cold floor to sleep on with a lice-infested bedroll; a bucket that always smells like sh..
Time to get the ball rolling and if Garrett is lucky this time he will see another day instead of the gallows! With his wits and abilities will he prevail again? Well, let's just see! Escape, Garrett!

Construction time: 300 hours of basic construction and more with beta testing repairs.
This Revised edition includes the following adjustments:Added knockoutStim to Werewolf1,increased volume of Ramirez conversations (2) Increased Volume of Otto Conversation. Added Door Properties to Ramirez Guard. Added Textured Sky and Moon for night Ambience. Echanged Cemetery Ambient Music to Custom. Fixed Return Holy Sword of St.Markus Objective. Added "read" to goal.str's for books of evidence. Added aiwatchobj marker to werewolf1. In Revision1, Door handles on all doors fixed. Lockpick one is destroyed when buying at Otto's. Hamswords M03 and M04 are now neutral Team, to avoid unwanted conflicts. All Hammerites are now armed with Kung Fu. As well as Yandros the Bar keep, Procession the Bar customer. Mr. Webster's Maid will inflict damage on you. Dont mess with her ! A texture missing in SE Tower at Ramirez'is now repaired. Mis linked key at Ramirez bed room fixed. to save just before you kill, and after you kill, however bury the victim first before making another save.
