Description : A classic Thief adventure. A Bafford style mission with added
sneaking elements. Has different difficulty levels
and support for spanish.

Briefing (english) : The poor man was so desperate that I finally decided to help him. Apparently, his wife had been kidnapped by a Sir Terence's men in an effort to force him into selling his lands at a ridiculously low price. As if that were not enough, Lady Whitman, the man's wife, is afflicted with a rare and very serious disease and without her medication she will soon die.

Because of the threats and concerned with his wife's safety, Lord Whitman had immediately dismissed the possibility of alerting the authorities. Desperate and distressed, he had no alternative but to seek the assistance of a thief like me.

Sir Terence's gardener, a man on whose information Lord Whitman was relying, would be the only help I would have for breaking into the manor. Whitman gave me the gardener's address and the key to his house where he said I would find further instructions.


Briefing (deutsch): Dieser Kerl litt an einer solchen Verzweiflung, da? ich mich schlie?lich entschied ihm zu helfen. Anscheinend war seine Frau von Sir Terence?s M?nnern entf?hrt worden, und jetzt wurde er gezwungen seine L?ndereien f?r einen l?cherlich niedrigen Preis zu verkaufen. Und als wenn dies nicht gen?gen w?rde so kam noch folgendes hinzu, Lady Whitman, so hie? die Lady, wurde von einer seltenen Krankheit geplagt und wenn sie nicht bald ihre Medizin zu sich nehmen kann, w?rde sie ohne Zweifel sterben.
Wegen der prek?ren Situation hatte Sir Whitman von Anfang an die M?glichkeit einer Einbeziehung der Beh?rden ausgeschlossen, da er aber dennoch nicht unt?tig sein konnte, hatte die Verzweiflung ihn dazu gebracht an einen Dieb wie mich zu appellieren.
Sir Terence?s G?rtner, ein Mann dem Sir Whitman vertraute, w?re die einzige Hilfe die er mir f?r das Eindringen in Sir Terence?s Anwesen zukommen lassen k?nne. Whitman gab mir seine Adresse und den Schl?ssel von seinem Haus, er machte mich auch noch darauf aufmerksam da? ich dort noch mehr Hinweise f?r die Suche finden w?rde.


Briefing (french) : Cet homme ?tait tellement d?sesp?r? que j'ai finalement d?cid? de l'aider. Apparamment sa femme a ?t? kidnap?e par les hommes de Sire Terence et maintenant il est contraint de vendre ses terres ? un prix ridicule. Comme si ce n'?tait pas suffisant, Dame Whitman, c'est le nom de sa femme, est afflig?e d'une maladie rare. Si elle ne prend pas bientot son rem?de, elle pourrait en mourrir.
? cause des menaces, Lord Whitman pr?f?re ne pas pr?venir les autorit?s. Alors, le d?sespoir et l'urgence l'ont oblig?, m'a-t'il dit, ? faire appel ? un voleur tel que moi.
Le jardinier de Sire Terence, un homme en qui Lord Whitman a confiance, sera ma seule aide pour p?n?trer dans le manoir de Sire Terence. Whitman m'a donn? l'adresse et la cl? de sa maison o? je devrais trouver plus d'informations pour ma qu?te.
