Description :
Gilberto, an old acquaintance of mine used to say that everyone had a skeleton in their
closet. He's certainly made a pile of money out of it, blackmailing some of the wealthiest
people in the City. He's semi-retired now having moved north to a small town in the hills.
But he still does a bit of leeching now and again..."just to keep my hand in ".
The heats been rising in the city recently in every sense of the phrase, So when an
uncharacteristic but welcome invitation came from Gilberto ,I was glad to accept. A bit of
cool northern air has done me the world of good. Trouble is, this place is worse than the
City. It appears that some time ago it was occupied by armed forces from the South, I can't
remember hearing anything about it, and so now it's directly under the control of the City.
Not surprisingly the locals are not too happy with this and an active resistance is growing.
The town is now under a curfew that only allows Nobles out after dark. In my particular line of
work thats a bit of a disadvantage. I think it's time to say farewell to Gilberto and head
back home. Gonna need some travel money though.......
