SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS
Intel Core i5-4570 CPU 3.20 GHz, 8.00 Gb RAM, GeForce GTX 660
Textures with a resolution of 1024 pixels and a scale of 12 were used.
There are a large number of objects in the scenes.
In open spaces with this configuration, a drop in fps down to 10 has been noticed.
GAME REQUIREMENTS
Option new_mantle in the cam_ext.cfg file.
Disable the Enhancement Pack and other packs.
RECOMMENDATIONS
The mission was conceived as dark, it is recommended to play at 60% gamma and in the dark.
But since this is harmful to the eyes, it's up to you how it will be.
TECHNICAL ISSUES
If the loading takes a long time, it makes sense to end the task and restart the application.
Furthermore, I cannot guarantee that the mission will run on your system or that the fps will be playable. The level was designed at the limit of NewDark capabilities and contains more than 6000 custom objects.
When all video memory is used up, the textures will start turning white. At this moment, it's better not to save, the game will freeze or crash, and the slot where you saved will be cleared.
CHANGES IN GAME MECHANICS
In the game, you can find an item "crowbar", but its use will be different from similar items in other fan missions. After selecting the "crowbar" in the inventory and aiming it at the highlighted object in the world, to activate the mechanism - you need to hold the mouse button for a couple of seconds.
DIFFICULTY
The amount of equipment, enemies, and loot required for completion varies on each difficulty level.
Choose Easy if you want to familiarize yourself with the capabilities of NewDark without unnecessary problems from gameplay. One bonus objective is missing on Easy.
If you're afraid of getting stuck due to lack of loot but don't mind the number of enemies, choose Hard. All hardcore taffers are recommended to play on Expert.
DESCRIPTION
The Keepers ask me to go to Konigsforst, a remote wealthy city.
Sometimes I don't even have the strength to laugh at the paranoia of these guys. This time in the suburbs
of the city, in the mansion of the scientists, there was a powerful release of anomalous energy that
causes blue smoke to pour out of the windows. The council is worried that this could lead to a catastrophe, but
if you asked me, I'd say one of the scientists dropped a test tube of chemicals
and forgot to clean up. Anyway, they never showed me the whole picture.
I didn't argue with them, Konigsforst has long attracted my attention, they say there are mines with precious stones there. Moreover, my landlord has raised
the rent for this backwater little room he calls an apartment. I have no
choice, I need to get the money or leave, which without the necessary arsenal will make my life even more complicated.
As usual, getting ready for work, I visited my fence Jacob. He has connections all over the country, and he owes me for the low prices at which I sell him my finds. Jacob is taciturn, which I particularly value, only this time he insisted on remote communication. A response to my last request his man will deliver
to a pre-agreed place. I only know that there will be some conditions.
