Instructions
Place .zip file in preferred directory for Darkloader to open. Do not unzip unless you wish to install manually. Darkloader 4.3 recommended. NVScript 1.2.2 and tnhScript 2.1 (NOT included) are highly recommended for play, but not required.
Explanation
The basic design of the Apothecary Apparatus is simple. The three potions are disguised number buttons. Once the correct “code” is entered and the burners are turned on in the right order to activate a RequireAllTrap, a TurnOn is sent to an EmitTrap that creates the option, the correct value is subtracted from the monitoring qvar, and a sound is played. If the monitored qvar falls below a certain value, it triggers an inverter that breaks the RequireAllTrap, disabling the apparatus until the monitored qvar is again above the minimum value for that potion.
Note that I have some scripts on pipes and other objects. This is because I was running out of objects when building Lingering Whispers, so I had to start putting scripts on concrete objects or risk running out of object IDs.
tnhScript provides the ability to show Book-Text values on mouse-over (which is used for a few things) while the NVScript is used to let you know how many drops are left in the monitored qvar.
