Plot:
The story takes place some time after the incident with Lady Rumford. Basso has moved with his sweetheart Jenivère to live near another city.
Garrett is on his way to visit his old buddy. And as they say, it's not the destination, but the journey that matters...

Hints:
The (hanging) candles in the missions can be extinguished. Candles within reach of the player can be "blown out," otherwise, use a water arrow.
Some guards speak with the voice pack extensions VGuard7 and VDrunk7, now available in DE, FR, and EN. If you're creating a mission with plenty of guard characters, enrich it with these voices...
This FM was not created by Looking Glass Studios or Eidos Interactive and is not supported by them.

Dedicated to our long-time TTLG.DE comrade and tester Blackmen, who passed away in 2011.

Beta testers, text corrections:

Programs used:
I wanted to take the time to list the programs I used in connection with this FM series. Oh boy, it's quite a long list!
DromEd118: Of course.
ThiefEdit: Very helpful for viewing/listening to RES files
ObjTree: For easier editing of the Gamesys, it usually ends up smaller than through DromEd after saving.
ObjList: Thorin-Oakenshield's object list - for when searching in the object hierarchy takes a while...
ParchEd98: Tom N. Harris' efficient input program for books and scrolls.
Ulead PhotoImpact: Excellent processing of graphic files.
IrfanView: Irfan Skiljan's program can handle nearly every graphic format...
360g: Converts textures from proprietary VTF format to common image formats.
DXTBmp: Converts textures from proprietary DDS format to common image formats.
Bright183: Erik de Neve's program batch processes BMPs into game-ready graphic families.
XVI32: Christian Maas' Hex Editor for changing BIN files, for example.
Anim8or: For creating/editing 3DS objects.
3DS2BIN: Converts 3DS files to BIN format (by NamelessVoice).
ProgMesh: A handy software for reducing polys in 3DS models as needed.
View: Displays a BIN file, with rotate and zoom functions.
UVMapper: Stephen L. Cox's program allows for alternative total texturing of an object.
Sony SoundForge: Processing of audio files - recording and individual effects.
Audacity: Audio file processing - especially noise reduction.
MS Audiorecorder: Audio file processing - converting to IMA ADPCM 22.050 Hz; 4 bit; mono.
Ulead Movie Factory: Surprisingly suitable for intro AVIs.
And of course Notepad, WinZip, WinRar...
